Find an audience for your passion or hobby and you’re all set to make money online doing something you love via a niche website. That of course, is easier said than done. Creating a profitable niche website takes time and is not intended for the faint of heart. But, if you can hurdle the steep challenges and positively answer a few key questions on whether the website business idea you’re thinking about is profitable, then you can begin building it and eventually monetize through advertising, affiliates, or other relevant digital products.

Nick Mira: That song was done about a year ago. I remember one day Taz told me that Bibby sent it to him, and he just wanted us to rework it or whatever. I remember spending the day working on it, and we weren't sure what was going to happen with it. We were just making it for us to listen to. We stripped the whole song down. We created a whole different vibe around it. It wasn't on the same sort of feeling that it is right now. And that was only the first version. After we made the first version, we had to go back and fix new stuff months later.

29. Videos – This could be an entire section on it’s own. Many people have made money by creating YouTube videos. Evan of EvanTube is a kid and he has made millions by creating reviews of products that other kids his age would use. It’s not easy to get views into the millions, but once you do, you’ll start seeing some cash come in. Many bloggers have completely turned to videos to get their point across by starting a video blog.
Do you have photo skills or live in an area where images are in demand? “Stock photography websites are huge repositories of photographs, covering almost every possible subject you could imagine,” advises International Living. Regarding starting a blog, I will give one piece of advice that made all the difference for me. It’s never too early to monetize. Place those affiliate links wherever you can starting from your first blog post, buttake care to paste appropriate links. If you are writing about travel don’t advertize online courses, join something like Travelpayouts and insert search forms for plane tickets to the countries the post is about. Pay can vary greatly, depending on your level of experience and area of expertise. For example, management consultants, who help organizations identify strategies to increase efficiency, can make anywhere from $17 to $170 an hour, on average, according to PayScale. RenoFi, an online marketplace for home renovation loans, is seeking renovation project consultants to review and report on the feasibility of residential construction projects. The job listing does not specify pay rates but notes that ideal candidates may have worked previously as a general contractor, a position that pays an average $15 to $63 an hour, according to PayScale. Research individual companies in your desired niche: If possible, it’s always better to become an affiliate directly with a company (if they have an internal affiliate program), as no one else will be dipping into your commission rate. This is the preferred route for most of the prominent affiliate marketers, including Pat Flynn.
