Taz Taylor: It's always been saturated, but now it's overly saturated. We were running it up back in the day, bro. We were making crazy money off YouTube, just selling "type" beats and all that. I feel like we kind of sold the dream a little more than we should have. [Laughs]. There's obviously still people providing for their families and doing that shit. But I don't know bro, I feel like we kind of exposed it a little bit and made it a little more popular than what it should have been. It kind of ruined it for some people, I feel like.
Or go beyond writing an e-book and create a whole online course with tutorials, PDF downloads and videos. It’s a great way to create passive income because people will pay for the info and can go at their own pace or post questions related to the course in a dedicated group. Here’s one resource for creating and selling online courses: LearnWorlds, which makes it possible for anyone to profit from their knowledge and experience by creating an online program.
According to Jennifer Stevens, executive editor at International Living, the list is vast, but it isn’t comprehensive. “We created it to give people a sense for the scope of opportunity out there,” says Stevens. “We’ve written lots about the different ways expats abroad fund their lives. Sometimes it’s with online work—like writing or drop-shipping. Sometimes it’s in-person services they provide, from running a consignment store to wedding planning. Certainly, the online opportunities provide great flexibility and portability. But it’s worth pointing out that business owners in many places tell us that it’s much easier to start a business abroad because it’s often less expensive and less bureaucratic than it is at home.”
Taz Taylor: The crazy thing that people are going to find out about this album is, a lot of these songs are throwaway songs that artists didn't want. They're songs I'm hearing and I'm like, "Yo, this is fucking crazy. Why don't you put this out?" And they're like, "I don't know, I just didn't really fuck with it." And I'm like, "Okay, well let me get this record." Then we go and we strip it. We take the Pro Tools session, and we take the AutoTune off the vocals. We change everything. We'll change the key. We'll change tempos. We'll change whatever. Then we'll just make a whole new record. Affiliate Marketing
If you upload photos of yourself, or friends/family with consent, it's worth going for the 'rights managed' licence option – otherwise you'll have little to no control over how your images are used (eg, you could star in an ad for haemorrhoid cream). See Alamy's page on understanding stock image licensing for more on the different types of licences. Online Income
Taz Taylor: I think it's exactly the same thing we're doing. They think the same way we do, and they move similarly. They don't care about labels or budgets or funding. They just care about finding artists they fuck with and putting them on. They're going to do everything possible and exhaust all options to put these artists on and blow them up. They don't depend on anybody, and they still get the job done at the end of the day. That's the same way we are. That's why we're so powerful. We rely on ourselves. Our paths are very similar. It's just two different worlds.
Taz Taylor: Oh, boy. I just feel like it's kind of outdated, bro. Just how the overall industry is run, from people getting paid to how you've got to schedule songs months in advance if you want them to come out. You can't mix things last-minute. You can't change cover art. You've got to be pretty set in stone with what you want to do, well in advance of actually putting it out. I just wish that everybody would get more hip to the times. If an artist can record a project in a month, why can't they change it a week before it comes out? Or even when it comes to politics of just getting support from different people or even DSPs and all this. It's just a big political game.
In many cases, work-from-home jobs are part-time, commission-based, or pay a lump sum for a completed project. In other cases, you can work as a home-based agent as an employee, providing customer service to client companies. Virtual assistants provide administrative, secretarial, and clerical support as well as creative and/or technical services for clients.
What It Is: Do people ask you your secret to perfect pie crust or how you made that wreath? "Everyone knows how to do something, or has a hobby they enjoy," says Kimberly Lawson, owner of OohLaLuxe.net, who has created fashion and beauty tutorial videos. "These can easily be turned into profits." Simply sign up for a free YouTube account. Then use a smartphone or digital camera to record yourself explaining and demonstrating how you work your magic. (If you're more tech-savvy or have a burgeoning teenage filmmaker in your house, you can use desktop software, such as Windows Movie Maker, to create a slicker video.) "Once you upload the video to YouTube, enroll in its partner program," Lawson says. YouTube will then place ads inside or near your video, and you will earn money from the ads themselves, video views and click-throughs. "The key is to put a unique spin on your video," says Lawson, especially if there are lots of others on the same subject.

17. Amazon – Have you heard of FBA? It stands for “Fulfilled by Amazon” and it’s getting pretty popular. Basically, you buy products (in bulk is best) and ship them to Amazon for them to store. When your products sell, Amazon packs them up, ships them out and sends you the money (after taking their cut). There are people making a full-time living from FBA, while others just do it for some extra money.
“Podcasting doesn’t have to be complicated,” says International Living. With a microphone, laptop and free recording software, you’ll be up and running. Plus, podcasts don’t need to run every day (once a week is best) and are better when they’re short. There are a number of ways to make money from a podcast. The most obvious is commercial sponsorship, but you can also use it as a platform to advertise your own products or services. NPR has a great guide to launching a podcast here.
If you have a knack for organization, you can make money online as a virtual assistant helping people to keep their days in order. Health care providers are among the most common employers offering jobs from home. So it should be no surprise that United Healthcare is one of the top 10 companies offering work-at-home situations. Though health care typically involves hands-on work at a care facility, it also provides a surprising number of positions that can be handled remotely.
This list is great, thanks! I wanted to point out, though, that it looks like at least some of the transcription jobs are listed as paying per audio hour which would work out to a lot less per hour of work. One hour of audio can take 3 to 4 hours for an experienced transcriber to complete, so $24/audio hour=$6-8/hour. Just something for people to be aware of. Internet Money
Nick Mira: Everybody doesn't really want to make comparisons. But if you look at Tupac and Biggie, you could look at X and Juice the same way for this generation. No matter how long you're here for, the impact that you leave in such a short amount of time really speaks for who you are as a legend. Just that alone carries a lot of weight. He's one of the best ever to do it in my eyes, and obviously the whole world's eyes. Online Income
